Forth In Your Name

Forth in your name, O Lord, we go
Our daily labor to pursue
Your Wondrous Love we aim to know
In all we think, or speak, or do

The task your wisdom has assigned
Oh let us joyfully fulfill
In all our lives, your presence find,
And prove your good and perfect will

Let us go from this table
As soon as we are fed
And let us share this Body, bread for hungry souls
And let us make the table longer
And so create a Body stronger
So that forth in your name, Lord, we may go

Oh may we keep you close at hand
Whose hand is making all things new
May we labor on at your command
And offer all our lives to you
